Floor Spring

SS 3044 items

A floor spring is a hydraulic door closer set into the floor under a frameless glass door. It carries the full weight of the door on a spindle, swings it both ways, and brings it back to the centre at a controlled speed. Because it is hidden in the floor, the glass door stays completely clean-looking. Black · Rose Gold · Gold available

AHFP-10590 kg1000 mm—No floor digging₹9,000

How it is used

  1. A pocket is cut in the floor and the floor spring box is set level with the finished floor, then grouted in.
  2. The bottom patch fitting (APF-01) is clamped to the glass and sits on the floor spring spindle.
  3. A top patch (APF-02) with a top pivot (AFS-GDP) holds the door at the head, so the door turns on one vertical axis.
  4. Closing speed is adjusted with the valves on the unit; the door can be held open at 90° on models with hold-open.

Where it is used

  • Showroom and shop entrances
  • Office reception and cabin doors
  • Hotel, hospital and bank lobbies
  • Residential main and balcony glass doors

How to choose

  • Choose by door weight and width first, then by how busy the door is. A higher cycle rating lasts longer in heavy traffic.
  • AFS-9400 suits heavy entrance doors up to 120 kg; AFS-6600 is enough for light internal doors up to 80 kg.
  • If the floor cannot be cut (finished marble, rented space), use the AHFP-105 hydraulic bottom patch instead.

Door Closer

6 items

Door closers pull a door shut automatically after it is opened, so it never stays open by accident and never slams. Addmore offers surface-mounted closers for framed doors and concealed closers that hide inside the door or frame.

How it is used

  1. The closer body is fixed on the door leaf and the arm (or slide channel) on the frame head.
  2. For glass doors with a pelmet, the ASP-01 saddle gives the closer a fixing base.
  3. Two valves on the body set closing speed and the final latching speed; adjust after installation.
  4. Hold-open (pelmet arm) models keep the door open at 90° until it is pushed closed.

Where it is used

  • Wooden and aluminium doors in offices
  • Fire exits and corridor doors
  • Glass doors with a top pelmet
  • Clinics, schools and commercial buildings

How to choose

  • Match the closer to door weight: 60 kg models for standard internal doors, 120–150 kg models for heavy or wide doors.
  • Concealed closers give a cleaner look but must be planned before the door is made.
  • Pick the hold-open model where doors need to stay open during working hours.

Patch Fitting

SS 30413 items

Patch fittings are the clamps that hold a frameless toughened glass door and its side or top panels. They grip the glass between two plates with rubber gaskets, so the glass needs only a corner cut-out and no full frame. Black · Rose Gold · Gold available

How it is used

  1. The glass is cut and toughened with the standard corner notch for each patch, before installation.
  2. Bottom and top patches clamp the door; the bottom patch sits on the floor spring, the top patch on the top pivot.
  3. Over-panel and L patches join the door head to a fixed top light or side panel.
  4. Tighten the clamp screws evenly on the gaskets; never let metal touch the glass directly.

Where it is used

  • Frameless glass entrance doors
  • Glass cabins and partitions with door
  • Shop fronts with fixed side lights
  • Glass doors between wall and ceiling

How to choose

  • Most patches suit 10–12 mm toughened glass; confirm glass thickness when ordering.
  • Use APF-03, APF-04 or APF-05 when the door has a fixed glass panel above or beside it.
  • Add APF-07 lock with APF-07 (F) strike box for a lockable door.

Combo Door Set

3 items

A combo door set gives you every fitting needed for one frameless glass door in a single order, matched to one floor spring. It saves time on site and avoids missing parts.

How it is used

  1. Floor hinge is set into the floor; bottom patch clamps the glass and sits on it.
  2. Top patch and top pivot hold the door head.
  3. The 5 in 1 set adds the APF-07 lock for doors that must be locked.

Where it is used

  • New glass door installations
  • Shop and office entrances
  • Contractors ordering doors in bulk

How to choose

  • Pick the floor hinge by door weight (80, 100 or 120 kg), then choose 4 in 1 or 5 in 1 depending on whether you need a lock.
