Using ASL-30

How and where it is used

Locks that clamp directly onto toughened glass, for swing and sliding doors. Most models need no cut-out in the glass.

How it is installed

  1. Mark the lock and strike position on the door and the fixed panel or wall.
  2. Clamp the lock body on the glass with its gaskets; fix the strike plate or strike box opposite.
  3. Check the bolt engages fully before tightening the covers.

Where it is used

  • Office cabins and conference rooms
  • Toilets and changing rooms (indicator locks)
  • Shop doors and display counters
  • Sliding glass doors

Choosing tips

  • Strike plate = lock to a wall; strike box = lock to another glass door or panel.
  • Indicator locks (ASL-05, ASL-06) show Open/Closed, ideal for washrooms.
  • For sliding doors choose ASL-10 to ASL-40, or APSL-50 / APSL-60.
