How and where it is used
Routels are the bolts that hold drilled glass to spider fittings. They spread the load on the glass and allow small movement.
How it is installed
- Fit routels through the drilled holes with their bushes and gaskets.
- Bolt the routel to the spider arm and set the gap to the structure.
Where it is used
- Spider fitting facades
- Canopies
- Glass balustrades on spiders
Choosing tips
- Articulated routels allow angle movement and suit tall facades; fixed flat and countersunk give a flush face.
